Recently my wife and I were in Lincoln City on the Oregon coast.  There are many places to stay and several with coastal views.  We were mostly interested in a decent place to stay without paying the premium of a room on the beach since we have done that before.

While browsing we found a few that were inexpensive and still had a costal view, but did not appear of the best quality.  As we drove just about a mile down the road we came across the "Palace Inn & Suites" on the east side of highway 101.

Much to our surprise, this was a decent place to stay and at only $46 for two adults.  The rooms are clean and have tile floors in the bathroom along with marble counters.

Overall, a nice place to stay and doesn't break the bank!
