In Microsoft's Vista, they have changed the file explorer that we have used for years now. For some it takes a while to get use to it, but it is far more powerful than the previous one.
One of the features I like is the new "Favorite Links" section. At first glance you will see a few folders listed there and think or well, that is handy I guess. The "handy" part is not what is already there, it is the fact that you can add your most frequently used folder names there so that they are always within easy access without having to navigate a bunch of folders.
To add a folder to the list, you simply navigate to the folder you wish to add and then drag the folder into the Favorite Links pane. When you do, as you drag over that area, you will notice a horizontal line, which shows you where in the list the folder will be placed. You can drag them up or down to organize them however you wish.
Once you have most of the folders you use all the time listed there, you will not have to "navigate" for them anymore, simple click on the folder to select it. Pretty cool feature!!
