Below are some more tips for removing other types of stains from hard wood floors for your assistance.
For removing stains from grease or oil, remove as much as possible with old newspapers, paper towels beforehand.
To remove the stains from vinyl flooring, rub a cloth dampened with hand dishwashing detergent and warm water. On hard wood floors, place a cloth soakened with dry cleaning fluid on the area of the stain for no longer than five minutes, and wipe the area dry, before washing with detergent and water.
For removing stains from lipstick, from non-hardened floors, try using some fine grade steel wool that you have gotten wet with detergent and water. If the surface of the floor is hard surfaced, or vinyl flooring, you may use plastic scouring pad instead of steel wool with detergent.
For removing a stain of Mustard from your floors, you may place a cloth that is soaked in hydrogen peroxide solution over the area of the stain. Over top of that, place a cloth that is soaled in ammonia, leave it there, until the stain had faded away. Also, by opening your window curtain or blinds, the rays from the sun may assist in removing the faded stain too.
