Was kind of surprised to see an online payment listed as "WF ePayments" for the amount of $1 on my bank pending charges list.  First thoughts was that my account was hacked and it being charged that $1 as either a test to latter get more or they had hacked thousands or millions of accounts (as that would add up).

After a bit of searching, it appears that the charge is only an attempt to verify a card I used with PayPal, that no actual transaction had taken place.  It is only the authorization, not an actual charge.  

Most of the time, people will never see these, but in today's world of online banking, I would imagine more people will be seeing these.
